Gujranwala however, later on some new villages emerged from it, for example Dilawar Khurd was yes part of it and its separat resulted in a new name of village Dilawar Cheema Kalan. Howevere, this town kept its old name and is still known as Dilawar Cheema instead of Dilawar Cheema Kalan. It has a population around 10,000 which comprise mostly on Cheema and Baryar castes however, Ansari and others castes also show their presence. This town is well served by roads and railways (Jamkey Chatta & Dharowal Railway Station serve it). Dilawar Cheema is the last town of Cheema tribe community in Gujranwala and the next town, Jamkey Chattha, is the starting point of Chattha tribe community. Ahmad Nagar, another popular town, is on eastern side of Dilawar Cheema wherein most notable personality (Ch. Hamid Nasir Chattha) of the district resides. Ahmad Nagar Police Station serves as the local Police Station.yes

Dilawar Cheema provides standard education to the local students with the help of Government and privately established schools and .
